oh! shoes shoes marvellous shoooes...

HALF UNDONE//

Damn... love. Teamed with black lace tights or striped overknee stockings... BLIMEY!

NEED to show you...

I found it here on nightcat's blog.
I am quite much into room design, and I usually dislike any kind of interior that makes a room appear smaller by looking too florid, but this wallpaper is just too bautiful.
The lighting effects are incredibly well arranged, creating this vivid sunshiny look.
Aww! Inspirational, inspirational.

Horses

This is really, really one of my favourite songs ever. This song always, I solemnly swear, ALWAYS makes my day when I need it, especially with its first 120 seconds.
NO chance for bad mood at all :)

This was my attempt

of creating an outfit for a goth party, woohoo.
Looks rather anti.
Dressing goth has become quite difficult to me, as I hardly ever feel like it any more.

Sry for the quality. I was at a friend's and hadn't brought my camera.

Shoes: old worn out Dr. Marten's
Lace Leggings and Paris print vest: Topshop
Jacket: ? (around 7 years old I guess)
Shorts: ""
Legwarmers

I wish there were much more lace available. I'd like to wear lace bras under lace bodies under lace leggings and lace dresses and... Well, I'm too much into lace.

Btw, I'm going to travel to Paris at the end of August yeaaaah.

Juliette Lewis & The Licks

A few years ago, I suppose, but still adorable.

Yes, I DO love that Heroin Chic thing. I've loved it from the very first time I saw it on TV and in magazines back the 90's. And to me, no photographer expresses it as enthrallingly and intensively as Chadwick Tyler does. There is also even a lovely dark whiff of 20's atmosphere in his work.

The Flare-Up

These guys found me on myspace. I checked their music and considered it quite nice. So I thought I'd just share.

This song reminds me of various bands of the Glamrock era. Could almost be part of the "Velvet Goldmine" Soundtrack.

Walking in the rain...

....
is a lot less fun when your favourite shoes have been
perforated with several huge holes due to seven years of every-day wearout. My second pair of Doc Marten's have been damaged beyond tolerance.
So I'd like to get myself a new pair. Well, that is rather a question of needing than of wanting.

There are so many new lovely colours I can hardly resist, but the good old classic black 8-eyes and me, that's a special romance which will probably last till the day I die.
Breaking them in will cause lots of pain, but one knows what for, right? :)
There is also this x-ray boyfriends jersey blazer at Topshop's.... *bites lip*

I can't help imagining these two with black or grey drainpipe jeans and a tight white longshirt and then going for a ride on the skateboard. Yeah.
Hell yes, I need that one, too.
No way out.

Haha, I know summer has not even truly arrived yet, but I can't wait for autumn to come *cheers*
I wish the world could just leave out summer and winter. I can't make any use of temperatures
under 5 ° and over 15 ° C.

Males of the world...

....why
not learn a lesson? The guy in this picture looks perfect from tip to toe.

great hairstyling, elegant but cool-looking and somehow casual clothes in monochrome colours, accentuating the shape of the body. Can't be that difficult, eh?
Btw... I've never seen a room with black painted walls looking so bright and welcoming before :)

L'Amour

.
I received my 3 DVD Collector's Edition of "Killing Zoe" this morning.
I've already watched the interviews, featurettes and the making of (I had watched the film itself about 20 times before), and I can't say anything but that it blew me out of my mind. The members of the cast and crew are so nice and lovely and funny. I adore Roger Avary's work, and I adore the fabulous Jean-Hugues Anglade as Eric, this nihilistic insane junkie bank robber.
He leads exactly the fast and intensive kind of life I would die for. (What a pun, haha^^)

This film is a piece of art, and even the package of the dvd is so lovingly designed.
The movie is full of violence, insanity, drugs, treason and other things one should never do as a well-behaved citzen (who wants to be a well-behaved citizen, though?), but the design of the digipack is a downright declaration of love to just all of that.

These are two photographs I took of the precious treasure. I'd like to have them printed on large paper size.

Hello Darkness my old friend.... (Or: Goodbye blonde)

Before:

.
I feel so much better with the brown.
It gives my face a certain depth and creates a darker self to me, which somehow
feels like coming home and being reborn at the same time.
I used to wear my hair all black for at least 10 years, and I can't imagine ever dyeing it black again as I am so sick of hair colours that look unnatural, but maybe I'll go for a darker shade of brown in a couple of months.
