This morning I received the DVD "Nico - Icon" and watched it at once.
I had loved Nico before, but that documentary really touched me.
Her view of life and society and her way of dealing with people, her fear of affection, hardly being interested in anything at all, acting carelessly, feeling lost, wanting to be surrounded only by people with the same darkness in their souls,...
all these aspects are so familiar to me and made me feel so close to her, which is not an entirely good thing, I daresay.
"No-one loved Nico. And Nico loved no-one."
